Remembering Ithaca Falls
by Sarah Luna
Today I ventured to Ithaca Falls. These glorious falls are within walking distance of my house, and I’ll be visiting them more as it gets warmer.
As I stay longer in Ithaca, memories get attached to certain places. This is my home now, and I’m starting to get to the point where I’ll see a place and think “Remember when…”
These falls–rather the top of these falls–were the catalyst of an epiphany last semester. Now I look at the falls and think “Remember when you followed blindly.” “Remember when you got angry.” “Remember how you fell and someone caught you.”
“Remember that you found friends.”
